Subnautica: Finding Lifepod 7
Lifepod 7 is, by far, the most difficult lifepod to find. It’s also completely optional, as it contains only cosmetic collectible items.
Subnautica: How to Make Water
Staying hydrated in Subnautica is a survival mechanic that requires frequent attention, especially at the beginning of the game when there are few options for getting or making water. This guide explores all of the water sources available in Subnautica from early to late game.
The Cyclops submarine is the largest submersible vehicle available to the player in Subnautica, and largely functions as a mobile seabase. It greatly enhances the player’s ability to explore and gather resources in more remote and deeper areas of the map.
The Underwater Islands biome holds the next important piece of Aurora wreckage. Most notably, this outing will net us the Prawn Suit Drill Arm, Cyclops Engine, and Stasis Rifle blueprints.
With Prawn Suit now built, our next major technology goal is to complete the blueprint for the Cyclops submarine, which will serve as a mobile seabase and will greatly ease long distance exploration. Lifepod 13 will help lead us to some blueprint fragments needed to build the Cyclops.
In previous chapters we picked up the Prawn Suit blueprint while exploring the wreck of the Aurora, and obtained some new ingredients and Prawn-related blueprints from the wreck near Lifepod 19. We should now have everything required to piece together the mighty Prawn Suit.
Subnautica: Lifepod 19
With the Aurora visit completed we now have the Prawn Suit blueprint as well the Seamoth Depth Module MK1, which allows the Seamoth to dive as deep as 300m. It’s no coincidence that this happens to be the same depth where Lifepod 19 sits. Surrounding this lifepod are some new materials that we’ll need in order to construct the Prawn Suit, as well as some wreckage containing a wealth of important blueprints.
As long as you remembered to bring a Propulsion Cannon, there’s an easy exit that you can take when you’re done exploring the Aurora. This chapter will help you find the shortcut to fresh air.
Now we’ll make our way to the final area of the Aurora: The Blackbox Room and the Lab.
